Nestling at an altitude of 400 metres, at the foot of the majestic Colombier massif and the Col de la Lèbe, Camping Le Vaugrais offers you an authentic, bucolic experience. Hélène and Pierre offer you a warm welcome, far from the big impersonal campsites, in a setting of unspoilt nature where coolness and serenity reign.

A haven of peace for nature lovers

Here, every moment is an invitation to relax. Your children can play safely in our playground, enjoy the heated swimming pool or play table tennis, while you relax on your spacious pitch, in the shade or in the sun. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will find plenty to do with the many paths winding through vineyards, forests and rivers, and we’ll be delighted to share our favourite routes with you.

A peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere

To preserve the tranquillity of our site, we do not accept groups of more than 8 people, whether for family reunions, stag or hen parties, or cousin parties. We prefer a calm atmosphere, conducive to rejuvenation, where the sound of birdsong sets the rhythm of your day. There are no big parties here, just moments of well-being to share as a family.

Covering an area of 2 hectares, our 3-star campsite offers 70 pitches, including 61 for tents, caravans and motorhomes, all marked out and with a minimum surface area of 100 m². We also offer a wide choice of comfortable rental accommodation, with 4 chalets and 7 mobile homes, fully equipped for your comfort.

Just 800 metres from the village of Artemare, you can explore the local heritage, visit the Cerveyrieu waterfall, discover the surrounding castles, and venture out on the many hiking trails available. The river Séran, which borders the campsite, provides a welcome coolness and offers natural swimming opportunities.
