Located 13 km from the Grand Colombier, Backpacks, young and old, sportsmen or walkers are sure to find a hike within their reach. You can enjoy a 360° panorama of the Mont Blanc, the Bauges massif and the Lac du Bourget.

But if you decide to climb the Col du Colombier by bike, by the side of Virieu le Petit with slopes of more than 25%, such a gradient will reward you when you reach the top: a breathtaking panorama. An inn at the top “Le Relais du Colombier” will allow you to eat and discover the delicious blueberry tartlet.

The association “Les Félés du Colombier” organizes every Saturday from June to September the ascent of the pass by bike, (the road is closed to cars) – And maybe you will join the Félés by managing to cover in one day the 4 sides of the Colombier pass.
