Camping pitches at the gates of Savoie
For the peace and quiet of our customers, we do not accept groups of more than 8 people: family reunions, friends, cousins, stag or hen parties …. We want to offer a calm atmosphere where everyone can recharge their batteries. Visitors are not allowed on the campsite premises. We thank you for your understanding and respect for these commitments.
With Le Vaugrais campsite, at the gateway to the Savoies in the Ain, discover our flat, grassy and shady camping pitches, with a minimum surface area of 80 m² and well-defined hedges with a view of the Grand Colombier. Ideal for families, we will have in heart to welcome you in the best conditions and to propose you animations during the summer.
For tranquility and serenity of campeurs , group of more 8 persons aren’t accepted .
Locations with different formulas:
- Type Nature : pitches with a surface area of 90 m², without electricity (pitches 45-46-47-48-54-55)
- Comfort: pitches of 90 to 110 m², shaded along the river, or sunny around the pool with electricity 6A (pitches 19-20-21-22-23-24-25-26-27-32-33-34-36-37-38-39-40-41-42)
- Comfort +: pitches are 90 to 110 m² minimum around the pool, pitch 35, along the river with 10A electricity (pitches 28-29-30-31-49-50-51-52-53-56-57-58-68-69-70-66-67)
- Great comfort : the pitches are spacious, with a surface area of 90 to 110 m², delimited by natural hedges, with a water point and a drain, and 10A electricity – (pitches 1-2-3-4-5-6-11-12)
- Premium : The 130 m² pitch has a lockable shelter, a fridge, garden furniture (1 table + 6 chairs + 2 deckchairs + 2 parasols), a free wifi ticket for the duration of your stay, a water drain with a tap and 10A electricity, (pitch 17)
In order to provide maximum comfort and safety to our guests, our pitches are large and our alleys are wide.
Camping de Savoie accepting animals
Le Vaugrais is a 3 star campsite in the Ain where pets are allowed on the pitches: maximum 2 pets / pitch, and they must be kept on a lead in the campsite.
They must have a vaccination booklet or passport (prohibited for dogs in the 1st and 2nd categories).

During your stay, you will have access to the latest equipment:
- 3 comfortable and quality sanitary blocks: hot showers, toilets with toilet paper, they are disinfected several times a day to guarantee maximum safety for all.
- a baby area: a bathtub and a changing table
- as well as a washing machine 8kg : token sold at the reception 5€ (powder included)
- a heated swimming pool open from June to September
In addition to a beautiful camping site in Savoie, we offer several specific services to campers for more comfort and enjoy your stay:
Services designed just for you!
- Hire of a top 90l fridge (7€/day) (deposit of 10€ to be paid in cash on arrival)
- A freezer is available at the reception desk to freeze your ice blocks and bottles (0,20€/block or bottle)
- service “special camper”, you forgot an electrical adapter. Don’t panic! We can lend you one for a few days, while you go to the nearest store. (Bricomarché in Culoz)
The different means of payment available at the campsite: cash, bank cheque, holiday cheque (A.N.C.V), bank transfer, bank card (VISA, MASTER CARD).
The sanitary facilities are disinfected several times a day to ensure maximum safety for all.
A privileged environment :
Many walks are possible from the campsite ( the Thurignin gorges, the Valromey pearls, the discovery of the Fierloz massif). We will be happy to share with you the good plans for fresh corners in particular.
