La distillerie du Bugey
We are delighted to invite you to discover the Distillerie du Bugey, located in Saint-Martin-de-Bavel, just 3 km from #campinglevaugrais . Marie, a native of the village, and Phil, originally from England, who grew up in the British gin culture, combine their talents to concoct amazing recipes in this building with a strong architectural cachet.
👉 Here, the gin is hand-distilled in small batches by the master distiller, Phil, using a traditional still . The gin and artisanal liqueurs are made from local produce 🌿 proving that our terroir really does have its good points!
Don’t hesitate to push open the door of this distillery And don’t forget, a sip of happiness should always be enjoyed in moderation.
La microbrasserie La Virgule
Today, we’re off to Champagne en Valromey for a sparkling visit to La Virgule: an artisanal microbrewery at the foot of the Grand Colombier! 🍻 Baptiste, a passionate brewer, awaits you with his range of organic beers made from local ingredients. Get ready to plunge into the fascinating world of beer-making.
Whether you’re a fan of bold beers or new non-alcoholic beverages, Baptiste will captivate you. 🌿
Don’t miss this opportunity to discover unforgettable flavors during your stay! La Virgule opens its doors every Thursday and Friday from 4pm to 7pm. ( to be enjoyed in moderation )


Au rythme du Troupeau
Just 24 km from the campsite, discover “Au rythme du troupeau”, an authentic sheepfold run by Pierre and Priscillia. Passionate about their work, they raise ewes and make delicious yoghurts and ewe’s milk cheeses, sold directly from the farm to promote the short circuit.
Welcoming and proud of their work, they will help you discover their environment and share their passion with enthusiasm. Children will love meeting the animals, and you’ll be charmed by the authenticity of this family farm.

les chèvres d’Arvière
Just 4.8 km from the campsite, come and discover Clémence’s farm, perched at an altitude of 420m.
You can watch the goats being milked in the morning and accompany them to the pasture – a magical experience for young and old, free of charge. Our goat cheeses, fresh, matured or raclette, are made on site with love and passion.
Clémence will welcome you with enthusiasm to share her know-how and let you taste tasty products from a family-run farm.


La fruitière du Valromey
In the verdant valleys of Valromey, the fruitière du Valromey stands as a bastion of cheese-making tradition. Founded by local farmers keen to add value to their milk, this cooperative has shaped the identity of #Comté.
👉 Every stage, from milking Montbéliard cows to maturing in the cellar, is marked by ancestral know-how. The artisans at #lafruitiereduValromey watch over each wheel with passion, guaranteeing the quality and authenticity of this emblematic cheese.

Visits to the fruitière are by reservation only through the Belley Tourist Office.
The fruitière store is open from Tuesday to Saturday, offering a full range of local products.
